Shirley Jean (Allan) Heatherly, age 98, passed away at 9:20 p.m. on December 10, 2021 in Willard, Missouri.  Shirley was born August 22, 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri to James T. Allan and Fanny S. Allan.  Her father was a first generation immigrant from Scotland.  She was a Christian Scientist, mother of six, and loved to travel.  She studied belly dancing and ran her own studio in the 1970's.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Walter Heatherly, and son Allan Matthew Heatherly.  She is survived by 5 of her children:  Lorna Beard of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Colin Heatherly of Springfield, Missouri; Sheena Heatherly of Gulf Shores, Alabama; Kevin Heatherly of Rogersville, Missouri; and Heather Ray of Isabella, Missouri.  A memorial service will be held at a later date for family only and her burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you contribute to a charity of your choice in her name.
