Our loving Aunt Shirley Ann Good was born December 4, 1924, in Lanesboro, Carroll County, Iowa to Albert William and Lola Coomes Miller.

She was married to Harold J. Good in St. Louis County, MO, June 21, 1947. He preceded her in death, February 1989. Also preceding her in death were her parents, an infant daughter, Janet Marie, brother Edward Miller, sisters Barbara Joan Cook and Marcella (Sally) Jane Hamilton. Her beloved son, Edward Leigh passed away February 1, 2018.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

During World War II, she was a Rosie the Riveter at McDonnell Aircraft. She and her family moved to Springfield in 1974. Shirley was a retired bank employee and a longtime member of Parkview Christian Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with burial to follow at the Springfield National Cemetery.
