She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she taught Sunday School to elementary children. Sheryl later became a member at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Sheryl enjoyed gardening, sewing, needle crafts and other work of her hands. She loved spending time with family, especially the children.
Sheryl is survived by her brothers Drew Thompson (Sarah); Mark Thompson (Carolyn); a niece Lauren Weaver (Adam) and nephew Jordan Thompson; a great-nephew Brody Weaver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews by marriage and many cousins, and second cousins throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas.
