Sherlie E. (Sherle) Scillian was born August 4, 1925 in Quanah, Texas to F.M. and Sarah Scillian. He passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; 4 children, Mark (Byrna), Stephanie (Keven), Lora (Fritz), and Jon. Twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:00am with service to follow at 11:00am in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with Pastor Curt Zachary officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 E.
