Sharon Kay Knox was born March 21, 1945 in Marshall, MO and passed away on Friday June 10, 2016 at the age of 71.

Sharon graduated from Marshall High School and completed 2 years of college at SMSU. Throughout her journey in life, she always kept herself busy. She worked in several industries throughout her career, ranging from licensed cosmetologist, daycare center owner, security officer and various positions in the transportation field. She was very hardworking and always put her family first.

Some of her hobbies included reading a good book, word puzzles and Sudoku. She had a love for cooking and finding fun and unique recipes to try. Out of all of her hobbies, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and grandpuppies the most.

Sharon was preceded by her parents, Orville and Eula Cheek. She is survived by her children: Christopher and wife Diane Knox and their children C.J., Sierra, Matthew and Trevor of Sioux Falls, SD; Timothy and wife Monique Hyden and their children Ma'Layjia and Maximus of Springfield, MO; James and wife Kathryn Hyden of Springfield, MO.

Visitation will be held at 12:00pm with Funeral Services immediately following at 1:00pm on Friday June 17, 2016 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E Seminole in Springfield, MO.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to assist with maintenance and upkeep of the family cemetery (Hill Family Cemetery, 218 State Hwy JJ, Long Lane, MO 65590) or to the charity of your choice, in honor of Sharon K. Knox.
