Shad Savage, 50, of Springfield passed away while running in the park. He was born August 5, 1969 in Springfield to Larry and Connie Savage. At Strafford school he loved speech, theatre, history and sometimes football. At Drury he loved theatre and made good friends.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Leslie Cowan and husband David; nephew, Blake; niece, Emma Lea Fielden and husband Josh; great great nieces Laramie and Lylah; aunts Jody, Jan, Nancy and Janet; uncles Jerry and the late Sammy and too many cousins to count. He is also survived by many good friends past and present who he loved spending time with, including his workers at MSU who he enjoyed.

Our hearts are broken.
