Sean Steven Cross, 17, Republic, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Sean chose to end his own life.

He was born December 5, 2000 in Springfield, the son of Kevin Cross and Kimberley Anne (Gorman) Cross.  Sean was a bright spot in many lives and was loved by many.  He was wise beyond his years, strong, stubborn, witty, handsome, creative, forgiving, talented, supportive and fearless.  Sean loved adventure, fishing, the outdoors, wrestling, running, listening to music and hanging out with his friends and family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He will live on in the hearts of many.

Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathleen Cross and Gary Gorman.

He is survived by his mother, Kim Cross; father and step-mother, Kevin and Lorissa Cross; grandparents, Mary Agnes Gorman, Scott and Connie Jeffers and Albert Cross; step-sister, Casey Stokes; aunts and uncles, Steve, Kelly, Shannon, Tom, John and Matt; and cousins, Jessica, Megan, Casey, Lindsey, Nicholas, Erin, Brigid, Seamus and Kynlee.
