Savaya Latrece Jones was born on December 23, 2003, in Springfield, Missouri, to Shannel Johnson and Martin Jones Sr.

Savaya was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bobbie Barnett; her aunts, Shanessa Cunningham and Barbara Ann Johnson; her uncles, Cecil Johnson and Joel Johnson; her brother, Malik Rodgers; and Khalil Miller.

Savaya leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Shannel Johnson and Martin Jones Sr.; and her siblings: Shanessa Johnson (Que), Satina Johnson (Ryan), Marquette Jones (Sadie), Sakirah Jones (Mike), Octavian Johnson, Nakehba Hooper, Aariel Hooper, Daphiney Jones, Ca'Dera Thomas-Webb (Camari), Lagarius Miller, Martin Jones Jr., Mark Jones, Arkavius Britton, and Markey'ana Jones, Latayvion Trout.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Za'Mhir, Zion, Za'montae, Za'lilyah, Zahvion, Zur'Moni, Zyiel, Zuri, Zaya, Kilana, Kali, Marcel, Kayia, Nikia, Kylan, and Adrian.

Savaya is further survived by her grandparents, Johnnie Rollins, Della and Dusty Brooks; Greatgrand mother Odessa Johnson her aunts and uncles, Janice McDonald,: Brenda Brown (Anthony), Kathryn Johnson (Ray), Tonia Jones, Pearl Higginbottom (Nick), Lakeesha Richardson (Thomas), );  James Johnson Jr, Joey Johnson, Larry Brooks Jr, Charles Johnson, Elizabeth Wells (Tony) and Amanda Goforth (Noah, Sami, and Leland); and a host of uncles and aunts; a special friend, Morgan Jones; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly. Family and friends, if we forgot any, we are sorry.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
