Sarah Elizabeth Harris, 89, Springfield, Missouri passed Wednesday June 10, 2009 in The Manor at Elfindale. Sarah was born December 21, 1919 in Springfield to Dell and Mary (Patterson) Harris. She retired in 1982 after 32 years of service from Cites Service Oil Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she had held several positions the last being an Office Administrator. Sarah had returned to Springfield in 2002. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by a sister Martha Sue Crowley of Springfield. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Hazelwood Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
