Sarah Lee (Skelton) Belt, 89, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2020.
Sarah Lee was a tiny package bursting with love, compassion, and pure energy. As a young girl growing up in Dallas, TX, she found a zeal for life and expressing love for others. At an early age, she discovered her passion for music, playing the organ at the Christian Church.

Church choir was where she met the love of her life, Ronald. Their love story spanned 72 years. When Alzheimer's Disease dimmed her mind, the first glimpse of her beloved Ronald brought the sparkle back to her beautiful blue eyes. Their affection for one another was unsurpassed, and you could always catch them holding hands, never parting ways without a goodbye kiss and exchanging "I love you's."
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Birdie and A.W. Skelton, her sister, Francis Picone, and her sweet husband, Ronald Eugene Belt.
She is survived by her children Ronald Wayne (Ronnie) Belt & wife Sonovia Belt of Dallas, TX, and Judith Ann (Belt) Miller of Springfield, MO; grandchildren Jennifer (Belt) Turturro of Denville, NJ, Matt M. Miller of Springfield, MO, Amy C. (Miller) Reaves & husband Jason Reaves of Springfield, MO and Aaron C. Belt of Dallas, TX; and great-grandchildren Zephyrina, Evangeline, Adeline and Antonio Turturro of Denville, NJ, Olivia B. Francis and Emma L. Francis of Springfield, MO, and Lucille R.
