Sarada Kotamraju passed away on December 10, 2011. Sarada and her husband Pratap had three children, two sons, Pradeep and Nirmal and daughter, Padma. Sarada had a Masters in Library and Information Science from Catholic University, Washington D. C. Sarada has been and Emeritus Faculty Member of the Meyer Library System of the former Southwest Missouri State University, now the Missouri State University (MSU) Her husband Pratap, was a former ambassador of India to ancient Carthage, now modern Tunsia in Arab North Africa. Son Pradeep, a Ph. D. is a Deputy Director of the National Center for Career and Technical Education of the University of Louisville, Kentucky. Younger son Nirmal, an engineer, considered an engineer with a bright future, was killed by a drunken driver in Florida, where he had been sent by his company on an assignment. Padma has two Masters degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. One is in American History and the other in Library and Information Science. Sarada and her son Nirmal studied together at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. The Kotamraju family are all U. S. citizens. Both Sarada and Pratap with their daughter Padma are settled in Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday, December 15-16 from 12-8pm.
