Sandra K. Higgins, 82, Springfield, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Mercy Hospital. She was born March 20, 1942 in Springfield, the daughter of Bernard B. and Elma Cunningham.

Sandra graduated from Central High School in 1960 and married Larry Thomas Higgins May 30, 1960. Sandra was a longtime member of the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Marie Higgins.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Tamera Higgins and Christina Brucker; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Private burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harmony House.
