Sally Suzanne Ausburn, 81, Springfield, MO died October 10, 2012 at James River Care Center and Rehab. A Springfield native, she was born September 21, 1931. She graduated from Springfield Senior High School and attended Drury University. She was a Realtor since 1970. During her lifetime Sally was active in Real Estate organizations and a deacon in the Presbyterian Church. In 1950 she married Jerry Fischer and together they had three children, Cindy, Cis and Mike. She was preceded by her husband Jerry in 1965, her parents, Ellsworth L. Maxey and Doris Maxey King and her step-father H. Carrol King. In 2004, Sally married Ross B. Ausburn. Sally is survived by her husband Ross B. Ausburn, daughter Cynthia S. Wyrsch Springfield, MO; daughter Celia A. Squires and husband Steve, Joplin, MO; son Michael L. Fischer and wife LeeAnn, Springfield, MO; granddaughter Jennifer Wyrsch Brodersen and husband Chad, Springfield, MO; granddaughter Betsy Wyrsch Niksefat and husband Kave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; Jeff Squires and wife Amanda, Springfield, MO; granddaughter Jill Squires Vincel and husband Ryan, Springfield, MO; grandson Michael Tyler Fischer, Springfield, MO; great-grandsons Jack Brodersen and Luke Squires, Springfield, MO and great-granddaughter Parker Niksefat; her sister and brother-in-law Alice and Bill Dodd, Springfield, MO; and the family of Ross B. Ausburn. A private graveside service for family and dear friends will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Springfield National Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will follow at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2441 S. Lone Pine, after graveside services.
