Ruth (Noble) Rhodes, 82, of Springfield went to sleep in Jesus on Tuesday, May 18 at 7:32 p.m. at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Rhodes also of Springfield, daughter Karen Rhodes of Ozark, Missouri, daughter Lynette Rhodes of Berrien Springs, Michigan and many extended family members. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home at 1947 E. Seminole in Springfield. Services will be held on Monday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at the Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church at 702 S. Belview with interment to follow at 1 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 5201 S. Southwood Road in Springfield. All are welcome.
