Ross Douglas Cooper, 51, of Springfield, passed away February 1, 2022. He was born in Springfield on February 23, 1970 to Marion and Linda (McGee) Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles and his father.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Cooper; brother, Kevin Cooper (Mona); sister, LaDea Hutfless (Joe); nieces Robin Murphy, Chelsea Chamberlain (Lucas) and Sarah Arthur; nephews Brayden Hutfless and Cooper Hutfless; three great nieces, five great nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

Ross had a love for life, Cardinals baseball, Blackhawks hockey, Star Wars, a good book, float trips with his core group of friends and a good joke or prank. He will be greatly missed by all. Rest in peace Ross. Till we meet again.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
