In loving memory of Rosemary Ann Lewis, 91,of Kansas City, MO passed away on May 18th, 2013. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on Sept 19, 1921 to Johanna and Daniel Gaffney. She was united in marriage to Thomas Roy Lewis (deceased) on June 7th, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri. Rosemary and Tom, along with their seven children traveled the world while Tom worked for the Central Intelligence Agency. Rosemary was an avid card player and enjoyed every moment life gave her. She is survived by her two sons: Thomas R Jr., CA and David R Lewis, Scottsdale AZ.; Six daughters; Christine A Lewis, KC,MO; Margaret Mary Lewis (deceased), Johanna Barrows, Edwards CO; Linda Rein-Gregory, Wausau WI; Patricia Nelson, Republic MO and Colleen Weiss-Hanen, Vail CO. Seventeen Grandchildren: Michael Lewis, Garry Dykes, Ben Lewis, Candace Gardner, Sam Lewis, Jana Weiss, Sara Lewis, Jennifer Nelson, Eric Weiss, Catherine Lewis, Spencer Lewis, Jared Kirkman, Conner Lewis, Logan Lewis, Nicholas Nelson, Johanna Gregory, Michael Barrows. Four Great Grandchildren: Christian Dykes, Rileigh Dykes, Ava Rose Lewis and Chloe Rose Lewis. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, one child, Margaret Mary Lewis, her parents and her siblings. Memorial Services will held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Father Fergus Monaghan officiating.
