Obituary

December 22, 1955, God gave us Ronnie Dale Fair by way of his parents Bill and Ida Karen Fair.

In a world that tries to make men hard, Ronnie always had a way of remaining gentle and kind. This was evident in his love for his sisters Pam, Tammy and Vicki. With three sisters growing up was an easy training camp for a man with so much love to give to practice.
And he did.
He loved so big and so hard.
And like all good things love brings, it brought Ronnie more girls to love.
His daughter Ashley became part of his heart walking on the outside.
He had a heart that loved without expectations and never struggled to give love, but when God brought Jacque into his life, he was finally on the receiving end of the gift he gave so freely.
God knew Ronnie was made for something special because by loving Jacque, he also wholeheartedly jumped into loving her daughters: Jordan and Maggie. The kind of love they needed was the kind only Ronnie was capable of giving.

It might be easy to think Ronnie was surrounded by women, but God knew he would need brothers too. Through his sisters' unions, he formed a band of brothers with John, Billy, and D.A. Ronnie also got to know what it was to love a son with the addition of sons-in-law; Steve and Levi.

Ronnie was as steady and reliable as the sun he planned his day around. Day in and day out he provided warmth and security working the land God trusted him with and loving the people God blessed him with.

Everyone thought they were Ronnie's favorite. With a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins to love he had a way of making them each feel like they were his favorite. But then his grandkids came, and no one stood a chance. Ashlynn, Annabelle, Brinlee, Parker, Bodie, and Kaylee somehow took the most loving man and made his heart grow even larger. To know Ronnie was to know all that was pure and good in this world. He lived a life that was good.

On December 29th, 2020, we learned for the first time how loving Ronnie could hurt when he left us here to go to his heavenly home. Maybe that was the best lesson in love that Ronnie could ever teach any of us. May you know a love so big your heart aches when it is gone.
