Ronnie Dale Archer, age 62, of Springfield, MO passed away October 7, 2014. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, had a love for playing pool and was very good at it; he hardly ever lost a game. Ronnie also enjoyed fishing. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 289, Riverside, CA. Ronnie worked for Cla-Val for close to 40 years in Newport Beach, CA. Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Dale Archer; mother, Josie Archer; and daughter, Suzy Council. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy Council of Springfield, MO; sons, Dale Tosh and Rocky Council, both of Springfield, MO; grandsons, Kyle Council of Springfield, MO, Ryan Council of Riverside, CA; great-granddaughter, Braylynn of Riverside CA; brothers, Jim Archer of Los Angeles, CA, Larry Archer of Chino Hills, CA and Denny Archer of Freeport, IL; and sister, Peggy Dockerman of Glendora, CA. Graveside services will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
