Ronald R. Rucker died surrounded by his family on March 13, 2015 in Eureka, MO at the age of 81. He was born December 15, 1933 in Jefferson City, MO to D. C. and Anna Gladys Rucker. Mr. Rucker was raised in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Drury College in 1956 and later attended Washington University graduate school. Mr. Rucker taught science at Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri and then at Parkway East Junior High School in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Mr. Rucker married F. Jeanette Rucker (nee Jackson) in 1959, and they lived in Springfield before moving to St. Louis in 1968. He is survived by his wife, F. Jeanette Rucker (Eureka, MO), his son Ronald E. Rucker, and his wife Lisa M. Rucker (Wildwood, MO), his son Rodney R. Rucker and his wife Kimberly D. Rucker (Eureka, MO), his grandson Matthew A. Rucker (Eureka, MO), his granddaughter Haley M. Rucker (Chicago, ILL), and his grandson Aaron S. Rucker (Wildwood, MO). Mr. Rucker was a member of the Eureka United Methodist Church where he regularly attended services with his family. He was also a Mason and Eagle Scout. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 am in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with burial to follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eureka United Methodist Church at 215 N. Central Ave., Eureka, MO 63025.
