Ronald G Hubbard, 81, of Battlefield passed away at 12:50 a.m. July 3, 2019 in Springfield MO.

An active member of the Elks Lodge, Ron enjoyed traveling, golf, the Pittsburg Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball teams. He always had a smile and was quick to tell a good joke. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clara Hubbard, his sister Jan Allen, and grandson David Smith of Springfield MO.

He is survived by his wife Sherry; daughters, Sally Smith and her husband Sam Smith of Elkland MO, Cindy Hubbard of Springfield MO; step-son Victor Davis, and step-daughter Lalay Makoui of Battlefield MO.

His niece, Brenda Pamperien, her husband Greg and family of Battlefield, MO.

His grandchildren, Ashley Schmidt, Sheldon Smith and wife Jessica, Samantha Konieczny, Shera Smith, Dustin and Kayla Hubbard.

His great grandchildren, Courtney Lilley and her husband Jordan, Terra, Jacob, Nicole, Clara, Gracie, Rosemary, Avery, and Devyn

His great, great grandchildren, Kaden and Oliver.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday July 9, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Rescue One.
