IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Dale
Harris
October 12, 1960 – July 1, 2025
Ronald Dale Harris, 64, of Strafford, MO, passed away on July 1, 2025.
A proud railroad man, Ronnie dedicated his career to the rails, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and deep sense of pride in a job well done. His hands built a life of hard work, and his heart built a home full of laughter, love, and unwavering loyalty.
Outside of work, Ronnie found freedom on the open road. Riding his Harley brought him joy, peace, and a sense of adventure that he carried through every part of his life. Whether it was a solo ride, a road trip with his wife Julie, or riding with friends, his bike was more than a machine – it was part of who he was.
More than anything, Ronnie loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, stepfather, grandfather, and loyal friend. He showed his love not through grand gestures, but in the everyday moments: the meals shared, the laughs told, and the quiet ways he made sure everyone was taken care of.
He is preceded in death by his father Junior "Otto" Harris of Strafford, MO. He is survived by his mother Margaret (Compton) Harris of Strafford, MO, his brothers Mark Harris (Kelly Harris) of Fair Grove, MO and Johnny Harris (Kristal Harris) of Strafford, MO. His wife Julie Harris, his children Ben Harris, Reese Johnson, Zachary Johnson, and Alexa Stalker. His grandchildren Marlee Harris, Austin Harris, Sophia Harris, and Nova Shingleton. All of whom will carry his memory forward with pride and love.
Memorial visitation is Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. A celebration of Ronnie's life will be determined later. In honor of his spirit, feel free to ride your motorcycle, wear your leather, and come as you are-just as Ronnie would have wanted.
