Ronald E. Coffey, 62, Springfield, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Mercy Hospital.  He was born July 24, 1961 in Lebanon, MO, the son of Joan Coffey.

Ronnie as he was known by family and friends, graduated from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Missouri and then served with the United States Navy for four years. He loved his friends and family, especially his grandkids who he would do anything in the world for.

Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Seabrooks and grandparents, Clayton and Duone Coffey.

He is survived by his mother Joan Coffey, one daughter, Tamarra Pummell (husband Garret Pummell) of Lebanon, Missouri; one son Deron Coffey of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Ricky Coffey of Springfield, Missouri and Marcus Coffey of Lebanon, Missouri; one sister Yolanda Horton of Suffolk, Virginia; two grandsons Rylen Clinkingbeard and Silas Pummell of Lebanon, Missouri; three aunts Geraldine Winfrey of San Diego, California, Suzannah Coffey of Lebanon, Missouri, Deborah Coffey of Atlanta, Georgia; one uncle Larry Coffey of Lebanon, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 11, 2024 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
