Rolf Alrik Cederwall, age 82, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at home in Nixa, MO. He was born in Highland Park, Illinois on January 17, 1933, the son of Alrik Cederwall and Bertha Duzell/Cederwall. He was a graduate of Northbrook High School and the University of Illinois where he earned his BS in Marketing in 1955. He was also commissioned in the US Army and received his Honorable Discharge as a First Lieutenant in 1963. He worked for various companies in Sales and Marketing and lastly as a Commercial Insurance Manager. Both he and Marilyn retired and moved to Nixa, MO in May 2003 from New Lenox, IL, where they had lived since 1976. Retirement kept them both very busy; First Evangelical Free Church, SWMO Model A Ford Club of Springfield, and OSSSM (Scandinavian Club). Rolf was preceded in death by his father, Alrik, in March 1961, and his mother, Bertha, in July 1985. He leaves behind his wonderful wife Marilyn and two sons; David, wife Karyn, and grandchildren Satchel, Mason, Serik, and Payton; and Sven, wife Rhonda, and granddaughter Taliesyn. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 28, at 1 pm at First Evangelical Free Church, 5500 S Southwood, Springfield, MO, 65804.
