Roger Carl Seitz, 57, of Strafford, Missouri was born October 17, 1963 and passed away December 5, 2020 of a long term illness. He was the son of Harvey Seitz and Joan Herring (Klein) of Branson, Missouri.  His son, Roger Seitz, Jr. resides in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

First and for most, Roger loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Roger's faith was evident in frequent Bible study and church attendance.

Roger enjoyed "tinkering" with engines and anything mechanical. He loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening and all things nature.  Roger loved watching sports, especially football.  Roger also loved animals and spending time with his dog and constant companion George.

Roger will be missed by his beloved mother Joan (Jay) Herring of Branson, Missouri, son; Roger, Jr. (Sara) Seitz, brother; Brian H. (Val) Seitz of Branson, Missouri, sister; Lisa J. (Jared) Williams of Texas, grandchildren; Hailey, Gwendolyn, Lillian, Gage, step-grandson; Reubyn, and various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his neighbor Wayne.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Harvey H. Seitz; maternal grandparents, Callie Klein Baker and Raymond A. Klein; and paternal grandparents, Carl and Irene Seitz.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 12:00 PM in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home with Pastor Brian H. Seitz officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to offset funeral expenses.
