Roger Alan Leonard, age 62, of Halltown, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, in St. John's Medical Center. Roger was born January 29, 1947, in Seattle, Washington, to Verdun and Caroline Leonard. Roger served in the United States Navy before spending the majority of his career in sales in the automotive industry. Roger's mother, Caroline, and father, Verdun, preceded him in death. Roger is survived by his wife, Patty Leonard; two sons, Lance and Vince Leonard and their wives Jennifer and Shauna. Roger is survived by his sister, Pamela East, brother-in-law, Robert East, and numerous nieces and nephews. Roger or, "Opa" as he is called by his grandchildren, is also survived by six grandchildren, Gavin, Marlee, Gage, Sydney, Ramsey, and Teagan. Roger is also survived by his best friends Dr. Jerry Wible and George Mones. Graveside services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 7500 W. Britton Rd. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Monday, May 4, 2009, at 2:00 PM under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. No visitation is planned.
