Roger D. Cook, 77, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at 8:52 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022 in his home.

He was born February 25, 1944 in Kennett, MO to Allan D. Cook and Clyde Elizabeth Schell Cook. He was married 50 years to the love of his life Donna K. Henson until her passing in 2015.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; brother, Rudy V. Cook and son, Dr. R. Shane Cook.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly E. Cook and wife Debbie Hopkins of Springfield; granddaughters Madelline "Madie" Cook of Carrollton, TX and Dee Tramposh and Kyle of Highlandville, MO; great granddaughter, Ire Melton and great grandsons Kail Melton and Jameson Tramposh of Highlandville; brother, Phillip and wife Gloria Cook of Jonesboro, AR; sister Karen and Dr. Joseph C. Fiorino of West Plains, MO; his faithful and loyal sidekick Matty Blu as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, February 22 at 2:00 PM in Hazelwood Cemetery.
