Roberta W. Elmore, 89, Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011. She was born Aug. 6, 1922 in Gebo, WY to Benjamin and Cora Woodring. Roberta was united in marriage to Gerald Elmore, September, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Donald, an infant daughter, three sisters, Louil, Blanche, and Marion, six brothers, Clyde, Willard, James, Clarence, Calvin, and David. Roberta is survived by a son, Michael Elmore, New York, NY; a niece, Jeannie Young, and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals, 2200 E. Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 65804
