Robert D. "Bob" Reeves, 82, of Springfield, passed away Jan. 11, 2017. Bob was born and raised in Polk County, MO. He was the only son of Lonnie and Lula Reeves, who preceded him in death.

Bob attended Fair Play schools and served in the U.S. Army. After his service in the military he returned to Springfield, where he founded his own company, The Master Kit Co., which he operated for over fifty years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Reeves, one sister, Freeda Holder and one nephew, James Holder, all of Springfield, one aunt, Dorothia Robertson of Morrisville, MO. and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Sat. January 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Aldrich, MO with the Rev. Robert Strand officiating. No visitation is planned. Anyone may call at the funeral home until 9:30 a.m. the day of services. Services are under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole, Springfield.
