IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Joseph
Lampo
March 2, 1941 – June 26, 2018
Robert J. Lampo passed away in his home on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 after a sudden illness. He was born in Neosho, MO on March 2, 1941 to Clive, Sr & Alma Lampo. Robert graduated from Neosho High School in 1959 & enjoyed attending his Class Reunions over the years. He grew up fishing with his father on the Grand Lake of the Cherokee's. He was also an avid deer hunter in the Truman Lake area, along with his son, Kurt & friends. In his days as a manager at Lampo Auto Supply (Neosho) he knew the parts catalog like the back of his hand. He was always quick to find a part for about anything, for the customers. After leaving the auto parts business, he worked the rest of his career as a light-duty machinery salesman. He could tell you just about anything regarding any kind of forklift & who had what products, whether you really wanted to know or not. Robert especially enjoyed hanging out & having a good time with his friends over the years.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Clive, Jr & Charles), & his grandparents. He is survived by his son, Kurt Lampo; daughter, Kathy Stewart & son-in-law, Scott; grandchildren, Ryan & Mariah Stewart; the mother of his children, Judy Lampo (all of Springfield). He is also survived by one brother, Don; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family & friends.
Visitation will be held at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 10th from 6:30-8:30pm. 1947 E. Seminole Springfield, MO 65804.
