Robert P. Ingram, of Nixa, MO died February 1, 2012. He was 84 years old. He was born in Harrison, AR; January 26, 1928, the son of the late Paul N. and M. Belle Ingram. He married Clara Morae Harris in November of 1948 at the First Baptist Church in Harrison. Bob worked for Arkansas Power and Light Co. (now Energy Arkansas) for 43 years and 11 months. He started at Harrison, worked in Little Rock for 12 years before moving to Searcy in 1980, working there for 10 years before retiring as District Superintendent of the Searcy District in Searcy, AR. After retirement, they moved to Nixa in 1993. He served on the Nixa Board of Adjustment and as a Commissioner of the Nixa Special Road District for several years. He was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist church in Springfield, MO. He was a mason for 50 plus years, belonging to the Boone Lodge #314 at Harrison and the Scottish Rite in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Clara Ingram. He is also survived by his brother William R. of Harrison, AR and his sister Betty Ferguson of Houston, TX. He also leaves behind many Nieces and Nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Saturday, February 4; 11am with visitation beginning at 10am in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St. Springfield, MO 65804, with the Reverend Hosea Bilyeu officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2pm at the Maplewood cemetery in Harrison, AR.
