Robert Eugene Gillum was born on February 7, 1931 and passed away on June 30, 2014 at the age of 83. He married the love of his life, Betty Gillum, on July 17, 1950. Soon after his honeymoon, Bob began proudly serving in the Air Force during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life he continued to serve his community through the years both as a dedicated local volunteer and as Chief Special Agent for Pacific Telephone. Bob was an avid collector of coins, as well as model planes and automobiles. He had a generous and often mischievous sense of humor and later in life he was affectionately known to family as "Grumpy Grandpa". During his lifetime, Bob was blessed to have loved and been loved by his two children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
