Robert J. Gerhardy "Bob", 85 of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his home.

Bob was born January 24, 1933 to Frank ad Loretta Gerhardy in Rockville Centre, New York.  Bob was very proud of serving his country in the Navy during the Korean War.  He graduated with a degree in marketing from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.  His lifelong career was in the sale of metals.  Bob was an adventurer who enjoyed motorcycles, golf, skiing, weight-lifting, sports cars and so much more.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nancy; five children, Rod Gerhardy (JoAnn), Katie Jones (Ryan), Jackie Gerhardy, Craig Morton, Jackie Delaney (Mike); a sister, Peggy; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Zachary, Daytona, Emily, Matthew, Ethan, Tabor and Emma.

Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.  Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
