Robert "Bob" Kyle Gardner suddenly passed away March 19, 2023. He was 75 years old. His passing has left a void that will be hard to fill.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patty; son, Kyle Gardner and granddaughter, Rachel; daughter, Kamille and her husband, Andy and granddaughters, Abigail, Nora, Anna, and Maggie. He was loved by countless friends and family.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1965 and attended Drury College where he earned his MBA. He worked in banking and education and retired from education in 2019. Up until his death he was still volunteering with the Springfield Public school system.

Bob loved many things, but especially serving the Lord. Later in his life he expanded his ministry by clowning. He was able to impact people far beyond Springfield taking this ministry as far as Haiti many times. He adopted the clown name WaWaJuD which was given to him as he was always wearing his WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) bracelet.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 4pm-6pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 24 at 10:00am in the funeral home with graveside service immediately following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
