We mournfully announce the passing of Robert 'Bob' James Donaldson, 75, of Sparta, MO. Bob passed away on 12/30/2022.

To sum up Bob's life in only a few paragraphs would be an impossible task. Bob was born to John and Mildred in St. Louis, MO on the day of February 14 ^th , 1947. He lived a full and vibrant life. His family and friends meant more to him than words can describe.

When Bob retired from the railroad, he devoted most of his time to restoring his '51 Ford, hiking in Eureka Springs, laying on the beach in Florida, having a drink with friends, spending time with family, or simply listening to music at home with his best friend Spot. He had made plans to restore his beloved '54 Ford Delivery with his daughter this Spring.

Bob is survived by daughter Tracy (David) Rinehimer; grandchildren Holden Donaldson, Michelle (Joe) Luna, Kassi (John) Croft, Kayla (Cody) Keith, Regan (Collin) Conner; great grandchildren Nova, Milena, Lucas, Merrick, Lillian, Jane, Charlotte, Brayden, Elijah; bonus son Kevin Wilson; his brothers Kenny (Kathy) Donaldson, Jack Donaldson, Eddie Donaldson; and an abundance of friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mildred and father John.

Service will be held at Gorman-Scharpf, 1947 E. Seminole St on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 6:00pm. Time will include memories from friends and family. All are welcome to share.
