Robert M. "Bobby" Allison, of Springfield, passed away on September 8, 2022, in Mercy Hospital.  He was the son of Robert M. Allison and Betty Jean (Hicks) Allison, who preceded him in death.

He worked for Southwest By-Products and the Carter family for over 40 years. He was a well-known philanthropist.

Bobby is survived by Samantha Harper and her two children Cayden Harper and Reagan Lindsay.

A special thanks should go to Brenda and Murray for all of their assistance to Bobby over the past several decades.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home
