Richard E. Wolf, age 67, of Springfield Mo., passed away at 7:43p.m., on December 2, in St Johns Hospital after a long illness. Richard retired from the United States Army after 26 years and due to illness took an early retirement from Bass Pro Shops. Richard was highly involved in Boy Scouts of America for many years. He had a great love for dancing, the outdoors and more importantly his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Eldon; mother, Mildred and brother, John. He is survived by his brother, Jim; sons, Richard Jr., Olathe, Kan., and Karl E of Wichita, Kan.; and daughter, Nancy, of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Kendra, Wichita; and grandsons, Christian and Collin, of Wichita. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., December 6 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Memorial and Burial services will be held at 2 p.m., on December 10 in Springfield under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel at the Missouri Veterans National Cemetary. Richard E. Wolf
