Dick, 80, of Springfield went to his heavenly father March 6, 2018.

Preceded in death by his loving mother and father, Margaret and Carl Stenberg; brothers, Roy and Harry; and sister, Ella.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Cora; his sons, Rick (Vicki) and Bob (Tammy); grandsons, Joseph and Ben; granddaughter, Sarah; sisters-in-law, Delores Stenberg, Bernette Stimson and Arlene Hall.

At Dick's request, a graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery with Father Fergus Monaghan officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Everybody is welcome.

He will be missed by many who enjoyed his sense of humor and kindness.
