Rhodora "Rho" Jeanne Prochaska, age 86, of Springfield passed away at 1:42 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Cox South Hospital. She was born June 18, 1928 in St. Louis to Charles W. and Marvel Gladys Webster Campbell, the fourth of six children. Rho was a graduate of Beaumont High School in St. Louis. She married William "Bill" T. Prochaska February 27, 1954 and they have spent over 60 wonderful years together. They resided in Springfield since 1971. Rho was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church where she was active in the 49ers Class and The Quilters Group. She was also involved with S.M.M.A., Ozark Genealogical Society, and Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Jeanne (Bob) Boehmler of Bentonville, AR and Janet (John) Hayes of Leawood, KS; sisters, Maisel Hey of St. Charles, MO and Darlene Hall of Terral, OK; six grandchildren, Amber (Jarrod) Shelton, Dacia Boehmler, Leah (Brendon) Padilla, Aaron (Amanda) Boehmler, Camilla (Chris) Elder, John (Laurie) Hayes; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 in First and Calvary Presbyterian Church with Dr. Andrew Chaney officiating under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
