Rex Allen Usher, 65, of Cape Fair, Missouri passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield Missouri.  Son of Bill and Ruby Usher, he was born in St. Louis, Missouri, June 30, 1953.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Charlie, Billy, Jerry (Groundhog) and Terry. He is survived by a sister, Ellen Usher Crawford of Fredericktown, Missouri; brother, Joe Usher of Morrisville, Missouri; daughter, Susie Usher Robertson of Springfield, Missouri; granddaughter, Sarah Robertson; son Rex Usher Jr. of Morrisville, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Chelsey, Austin and Angel.

Rex was a member of the Cape Fair Eagles Lodge and The Bridgeport Betterment Association. He was a beloved worker at Diversified Plastics Corporation for over twenty years. Rex enjoyed fishing, tinkering with tools and motoring around the neighborhood in his treasured golf cart.  He leaves behind his faithful companion and four-legged friend, Bailey. Most of all, Rex loved his family and was a proud father and grandfather. He was a gentle soul who loved helping people. Rex will be remembered for his kind heart.

His family wishes to thank Mark Evans of Reeds Spring who was a buddy of Rex's and co-worker at Diversified Plastics Corporation.

A visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
