Rex met so many great friends throughout the years, and there wasn't a person who met him who didn't love him.  He was quite the character and boy did he like to laugh and have fun.  He cherished his time with each and every one of his friends.

Rex and Judy married (young) in Needham, MA on February 26, 1960 (and some people said it would never last!)  They settled in Bellingham, MA and raised their 2 daughters until they moved to Chesterfield, NH in 1977 and then finally moved to Springfield, MO in 1979.

Rex loved cars.  In his youth, he built and raced stock cars and dragsters which eventually led him to the position of Fixed Operations Manager at Pinegar Chevrolet in Republic, MO where he worked from 1979 until he retired in 2007.  He loved his Pinegar family and stayed in close contact with them until he passed away.

Throughout the years, Rex worked hard for his numerous hobbies.  He loved his pool, his snowmobiles, his truck camper which he took to Cape Cod, MA on summer weekends, his boat on Tablerock Lake and his pride and joy, a 1927 Model T.  He and Judy also loved to travel and visited Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Russia, Europe, Canada, Alaska and the Caribbean and Panama Canal.  Rex was blessed with a wonderful life and many incredible memories.

Later in life, he and Judy moved to Tera Vera where he met many close friends.  He always found a project to work on and he loved landscaping his yard.  He also planted so many flowers that it became quite the chore to water them all!

The family would especially like to thank Integrity Home Care & Hospice for their great care and compassion in the week leading up to Rex's death.

A graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Hazelwood Cemetery on Thursday, July 23, 2020.  Due to COVID-19, a memorial service to celebrate Rex's life will be held for all extended family and friends in October, 2020.
