Rex D. Lyons, 76 of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  He was born the son of Patrick and Pauline Ewing Lyons.

Rex was known for his smile and never met a stranger.  This trait served him well as a car salesman, a job he had for over 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Lyons.

Rex is survived by his wife, Mary Barrett of Springfield; two nieces, Jennifer and Melissa Lyons both of Springfield; a nephew, Austin Lyons Wilson and a great nephew, Wesley Lyons Wilson both of Hollister.
