In Loving Memory of Rebecca Wright.

Rebecca Wright, a devoted family member, cherished friend, and respected attorney, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 51 years old.

After graduating from the University of Missouri Law School, she became a dedicated and tenacious professional. Rebecca practiced law with integrity, perseverance, and a deep commitment to serving the State of Missouri, and later the City of St. Louis.

She had a tireless work ethic and approached every issue with determination and precision, always striving to find the best possible outcome for her clients and colleagues.

Rebecca was a person of great loyalty, warmth, and compassion. She found immense joy in time spent with friends, sharing laughter and love.

She was a puzzle-solver at heart, who relished challenges, and mysteries, whether legal, logical, medical, or historical. Her beloved cat Iolia was her constant companion for over twenty years. One of her favorite pastimes was genealogical research.

Becky's determined spirit, and love for those around her will be remembered, and cherished always.

She is survived by father Howard Wright Junior, mother Patricia Wright, sister Elizabeth Wright, brothers Howard Wright III and Ragan Wright, nephew William Wright, a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on May 5, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri on Lot 860, on the cemetery corner of 5th and D West.
