Randy Ray Arnett, 62 and Kathy Gage Arnett, 61 of Abidjan, Ivory Coast met their Savior on March 14, 2018 while traveling for missions' work in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Randy was born October 20, 1955 in Independence, Missouri to Ray and Jane Arnett. Kathy was born on March 18, 1956 in Cairo, Illinois to Richard and Betty Gage. Randy and Kathy united in marriage on October 20, 1978. Randy and Kathy were appointed to the International Mission Board on October 14, 1986 as missionaries to West Africa. Randy and Kathy served faithfully together until their deaths.

Randy and Kathy are survived by their parents, Jane McLaughlin- Arnett, Richard and Betty Gage; daughters, Bevin Wyrick and husband, Josh, and Jillian Cavness and husband, Joe; sisters, Janna Watson and husband, Mike, Karen Chronister and husband, Mark, Cindy Silman and husband, Mark; brother Dale Arnett and wife, Linda; grandkids Ashley Wyrick, Kenny Wyrick, Lydia Arnett-Wyrick, Hank Wyrick, and Darcy Wyrick; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

They are preceded in death by father, Ray Arnett and step-father Leroy McLaughlin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri. Services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10am at First Baptist Church in Springfield with a graveside service following at Maple Park Cemetery.
