Obituary

Priscilla B. Paul, 93, of Springfield Missouri passed away peacefully in her home, Saturday evening March 11 at 7:30 pm.

She was born February 11, 1924 in Cincinnati Ohio to James and Enith (Parsons) Bennett. She graduated High School at Stephens College in Columbia Missouri. She lived much of her life in Houston Texas before moving to Springfield some 20+ years ago. She was a loving mother and grandmother and well liked and loved by many dear friends and relatives across the country. She spent much of her later years volunteering and helping others in many different ways. She was always willing to share her experience, strength and hope and without reservation, during her 51 years as an active member in a 12-step program, who were all friends of Bill and Dr. Bob.

She is survived by two sons, Bart Wittrock and wife Beth of Houston Texas, Tom and wife Kelly of Springfield Missouri, her beloved granddaughter Robin of Houston Texas, and her nieces Alex DeVere (Albuquerque, NM) and Simone Bennett-Washburn (Beaver Falls, Pa).

There will be a memorial visitation at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Memorial donations can be made to: Bridges For Youth, Rare Breed Youth Service, Friends of the Library or any organization you know she supported.
