Priscilla Cox, 88 of Springfield passed away January 17, 2011. She was born March 10, 1922 to the late Herman and Jewell Stone. She was one of seven children. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester Cox; three brothers, Dote, Doug, and Jack Stone; one sister, Avonelle Stone; and two nephews, Mike and Robert Fesperman. She is survived by two sisters; Harriette Fesperman of Springfield and husband Dave, and Charlotte Strohm of Nixa and husband David. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly: Mark Fesperman, Kenny Stone, Steve Stone, Kirk Strohm, Angie Richardson, Pam Stone, and Sherry; and eight great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21 in Kings Way United Methodist Church with Reverend Fred Royer officiating under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice, 1831 W.
