Obituary

Priscilla Caffey was born on February 19, 1938, to Annabell Levitt in Humansville, Missouri. She is an only child. Priscilla attended school in Joplin and Springfield graduating from St. Agnes Catholic School. As a child, she liked to play the piano and sing in the choir and play volleyball. Priscilla married Bob Vickery when she was nineteen years old. Together they had two children, Anthony and Lisa. Later she married the love of her life Rhuben Caffey and had another child, James.  Rhuben was a member of three Shrine's Clubs and the Elks Lodge which kept them very busy. Priscilla worked as a bookkeeper for Rhuben's Heating and Air Company for many years and several other businesses. She was a seamstress and made all her and her children's clothes. When Rhuben retired Priscilla turned his shop into a ceramic shop and taught ceramic classes. Priscilla loved to dance, travel, and go fishing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband and a son, Andy.

Priscilla is survived by daughter, Lisa; son, James; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as a sister, Carletta Adams and her family.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2023, at Hazelwood Cemetery.
