Prinda married Richard Lee Taylor on November 27, 1949 and moved to Richard's hometown of Springfield, Missouri where they raised their family. She played golf and tennis especially with her husband as they traveled extensively abroad and throughout the United States. She was an avid reader and loved learning about history. She did advanced research on the family genealogy and wrote several books on her research. Prinda gave these to members of the family for remembrance. Over the years, Prinda entertained family and friends by playing the accordion and organ. She also enjoyed knitting, decorating, and a good piece of chocolate. She was a member of The Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Past President of the Ozark Empire Grocers Association's Ladies Auxiliary and a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church. Prinda was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest Reed and Anna Reed; husband Richard Taylor; brother Eldon Reed; and sister Naomi Reed. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter and a son Kevin Mitchell Taylor. Prinda is survived by her three daughters and a son: Victoria Anne Iseminger and her husband Jerry, Kira Kay Blasi, Rene' LaLane Parnell, and Richard Erick Taylor and his wife Betsy, all of the Springfield area; her brother Arthur Reed, Peoria, Illinois; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Prinda will be greatly missed by her family but they are comforted in knowing that she is now reunited with her loving husband, son, infant daughter and other family members that have preceded her.
