Phyllis (Miller) Barclay, beloved wife of James “Bill” Barclay, Sr., passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026 in Cox Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son, Bill, Jr.

Dear sister of Douglas Miller and Carol Eyermann, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, step-mother and friend.

Bill and Phyllis were united in 2002 after being apart for over 45 years. Originally married in the 50’s, they lost their son and went their separate ways. Thanks to her brother, Doug, and classmates, they reconnected, found they still felt the love from many years ago and, thus, a new beginning. Bill and Phyllis felt very blessed to have this second chance and were so very happy these last years together.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Pattonville, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice or to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
