Phillip Lee Conner of Bixby, Oklahoma, was born April 11, 1950, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Phillip Gordon and Wandaleen (Garrett) Conner. Phil departed this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 70.

Phil graduated high school from Parkview High School and later graduated from Southwest Missouri State.  He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1971 and served as a Sargent specializing in Dental Lab.

Phil worked for the City of Springfield at the beginning of his career and then went to work for Scurlock Industries where he would retire.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, drinking coffee, and visiting with his friends.

Phil is survived by two children; son Michael Conner and wife Elayna of Bixby, Oklahoma; and daughter Lisa Nelson and husband Keith of Omaha, Nebraska; three grandchildren Garrett Conner, Cooper Nelson and Kylee Nelson; two sisters Linda Cox and husband Mike and Patricia Conner; two nephews Brad Letterman and Shannon Sims and one niece April Sims.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
