Mary A. "Peggy" Webb, 97, Springfield, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Manor at Elfindale. She was born December 13, 1927, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank T. and Mae (Glynn) Bishop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James "Gene" Webb, who passed away July 14, 2009, and brothers, Bill and Glen Bishop.  She is survived by many extended family members and friends, who loved her dearly.

In her youth, Peggy was heavily involved in roller skating competitions.

Following that, she and Gene explored the country on their Gold Wing Motorcycle. They also enjoyed playing cards monthly with their dear friends, and these get togethers always involved a meal and dessert.  As a profession, Peggy worked as a hairdresser, and loved it so much she styled hair for more than 60 years, retiring in her 80s.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Eastlawn Cemetery.
